They were the big craze in the 90’s. At least we can all agree on that. But no one can seem to agree what to call them.

Pogs? Milk Caps? Milkcaps? Menko? Well, whatever they were called, you were supposed to smack them and see who could make them go the farthest or who could get them back into the case.

What did you smack them with? A slammer. I mean, a masher. Smasher? Striker? Whammer? No one can agree on that either but they were heavier than the usual pogs and usually make of plastic. The really good ones were made of metal.

Seems like a lot of names for a bunch of little colored circles if you ask us!

Since you didn’t ask us, however, we will just conclude by saying, whatever you call them, we are selling a ton of them this week. In addition to one really big lot featuring several cases and other goodies, we also have several smaller lots with some of the most beloved characters ever to grace a pog. Spiderman, X-Men, The Muppets, Bobby’s World, Animaniacs, The Simpsons, The Tick, comic and funny paper favorites like Snoopy, Hagar the Horrible and Blondie and Disney including Lion King, The Little Mermaid and many many more. Auctions start at under $1 in our store right now!
