Teachers love reading Through the Flashlight’s Beam aloud in their classrooms

Published by pricednostalgia under News and Updates

One of the groups we hear from the most often regarding our read aloud classic scary story collection, Through the Flashlight’s Beam: A Collection of Classic Scary Stories for Reading Aloud, are teachers. We had hoped people would enjoy reading these stories aloud with their families and hearing it used in a classroom setting is wonderful news.

Teacher Jamie Smith recently posted a great review over on GoodReads and we wanted to share the highlights:

I enjoyed reading this book. . .The short stories that were included are true classics are it is great to have them all in one place. I also enjoyed the format of the book: each story has an estimate of the time it takes to read aloud, and each page has some decorative scrolling that I thought contributed to the nostalgic appeal of the book. I will be using this book in my classroom (junior high reading and English) for many years to come.

If you don’t have your own copy of this popular book yet, you can grab a copy in our eBay store or download it right now to your Kindle, iPod Touch or iPhone.
