Is the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie in trouble?

An email featured on The Wrap leaked today that has the TMNT fans a buzz saying that there may be problems with the rumored upcoming film. This is from an email so the validity of this info is of course up for question. Has  anyone heard more about an upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie? How about if this is live or animated? Please let it be animated =).
