But even if you aren’t bothered by the slutting up of 80s icons, I can’t help but wonder why toy companies and cartoon makers bother to do it. Is this some weird side effect of the popularity of Bratz (which I thought were “out” now)? Or is this a case of people in charge of the marketing having no idea what real little girls want? Or, (worst of all) is sexed up really what little girls want these days?
