One of the biggest reasons we redid the site recently was that one of the most useful parts of the site, the G2 My Little Pony Name Translations Database, was nearly impossible to find from the main page. Now its much easier to locate, just click the G2 link at the top of every page and you’ll find that and any other G2 resources we have posted. This section of the site gives the name of every pony in the entire second generation in English, Dutch, French, Spanish, and Italian so that pony fans in all countries can better match pony names to packaging as well as The My Little Pony G2 Collector’s Inventory no matter which language they are starting from. This is more than just mere translation, most times ponies have completely different name depending on their country.

The database itself was the hard work of Summer Hayes and was originally going to be part of her G2 guide. While it is extensive, it isn’t 100% complete which is where you come in.

We need your help to get this database completed and to fill in the blanks. If you have mint in box or mint on card G2 ponies, please take a minute to look at the packaging to see if it gives the pony’s name in any other languages. If you have some of the ones we are missing, please email either Summer or myself so that we can add it to the database.

Thank you kindly for your help in advance!
